- Supported the Air Force review team for TCG-WPMU-3, Joint DOE/DoD Topical Classification Guide for Weapon Production and Military Use, we were also involved in the rescission of AFI 31-407, AF Nuclear Weapons Security Classification Guide and subsequent development of a 13 series AFI covering AF nuclear weapons classification guidance. Our team is also thoroughly familiar with (DODD) 5210.83, Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI) as well as UCNI requirements in AFI 31-401, Information Security Program Management
- Authored AFI 21-204, Nuclear Weapons Maintenance Procedures as part of the AF nuclear reinvigoration efforts; guidance clarified processes/procedures reducing potential future deviations
- Developed the guidance in AFI 21-204 that describes the reporting requirements for each nuclear weapon type (ICBM, cruise missile, and gravity weapon). We’ve developed deficiency report tracking tools within NMC2 based on requirements in AF instructions and Joint Nuclear Weapons Publication System (JNWPS) TOs
- Wrote, in collaboration with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters (DASD (NM)), inspection guidance for active/inactive and retired nuclear weapons for a revision to CJCSI 3263.05, Nuclear Weapons Technical Inspections (NWTI)
- Led multi-disciplined team consisting of supply, transportation, and maintenance experts to develop AFI 20-110, Nuclear Weapons Related Materiel Management (NWRM) and criteria used to evaluate assets for inclusion on the Air Force NWRM listing
- Developed standardized assessment checklists covering both nuclear weapons maintenance, transportation, and accountability as well as NWRM management
- Authored and staffed AFI 21-203, Nuclear Accountability Procedures, a new AFI focusing on accountability, custody, and inventory (SIR) of nuclear weapons and associated components
- Played a critical role in the development and implementation of Air Force Nuclear/Conventional munitions maintenance policy with the publication of AFI 21-200, Munitions Maintenance; consolidated and standardized an AF munitions specific Quality Assurance, Tool Control, Key and Lock, and Nuclear Weapons Maintenance Certification Program into one AFI
